Silva which means "forest" in Italian, is not Italian. She is Syrian. This sustainable cuff was named after this fiery, creative woman who has blessed me with her knowledge and creativity for over 10 years ago. She owns a sustainable and ethical jewelry studio/factory in LA. She has supported the growth of my jewelry brand as well as my personal life. She's been a friend through a lot. She has played a pivotal role in my natural-inspired jewelry. Thank you Silva for your friendship and co-creating.
This sustainable cuff/bracelet is cast from 100% recycled metal from a piece of oak bark found in Austin, Texas. Silva painted the with thick paint and then made a mold. From there, the bark was flipped, so the inside of the bark is now what you see and feel on the outside.
This non-toxic cuff is cast in 100% recycled brass (no nickel, no cadmium & no lead). It is sustainably made and plated in downtown LA. Made in America! It was then plated in sterling silver or 14 karat gold. There are no toxins left on this cuff. It measures 6 inches around the wrist and 2 1/4 inch from wrist to elbow.
